I'd like to be able to notify my bidders automatically by text when they've been outbid.

Texting allows real time communication when many people do not have notifications turned on for emails. This keeps the auction competitive and potentially allows us to raise more funds.

Silent Auction - Text Message notifications

For optimum fundraising, we must have text messaging for bids & communications. Some guests don't have email on their phones or aren't versed in how to use it. We lose opportunities without text messaging for bids. This method of communication has been around on software platforms for a very long time. Zeffy needs to get this updated asap.

Text notification to bidders is MUCH quicker and would be very beneficial!

Texting is BY far the better way to inform someone about a bid. Plus, adding the text feature also means that this can be easily used on event day in person for a silent auction. PLEASE make this feature available.

People now a days really aren’t fans of emails. Being notified via text would be so much better and have a more positive reaction from our donors

With everyone utilizing their cell phones for communications, the ability to participate in auctions via text messages is paramount. We are going to give Zeffy (via emails) a try, but I already know what the feedback will be. And I hope it doesn't hinder our bidders from keeping up with the bidding via email, which could affect our fundraising for this. Please make this a priority. We have another event coming up in a few months, with a silent auction.
