When importing payments in Zeffy, it would be great if I could bulk generate receipts instead of having to upload my payments and then manually generate receipts for them.

Great news, this is now possible to import payments in bulk while generating automatically tickets (for events) and tax receipts (if relevant).
Please try it and let us know if you have any additional feedback!

Michel (Product @Zeffy) The receipts for tickets that I uploaded in bulk payments did not send out. We did not get our receipt nor tickets.

Hi Ryan, sorry our AI assistant didn't quite catch this improvement yet but I confirm this is live, please follow the instructions here: https://support.zeffy.com/payments-import-template-9jqar
The payment will be created successfully and attached to your campaign but I confirm that there is an issue that prevent sending automated thank you emails in case you did not emit receipts with these payments. We are on it, should be fixed end of next week max.

Michel (Product @Zeffy) Thanks! So, what wasn't covered in the video is if the system automatically generates a ticket.
The document says "After a successful import, the following documents are automatically generated and accessible in the payment drawer (click on any payment to view):
- Tax receipts: Available for all payment types if you chose to generate them during import.
- E-tickets: Generated for payments with type "ticket."
- Membership cards: Generated for payments with type "membership"
Does this automatically email the ticket to the guest then? Thanks in advance!

Ryan no that's precisely what is missing. Documents are generated but it seems that they are not sent to the guest yet (but we're working on it).
Please note that it is a separate option (so you can still generate without sending).

Hi Ryan, the fix has been made but it will be released next Monday morning so you should be good to try it out first thing next week.

I would strongly suggest a bulk receipt generation for imported donations. More people will switch to zeffy with that
