Great news — this is now live! 🎉
You can now customize your renewal reminder emails for annual memberships and annual recurring donations directly from the form editor.
Set the timing (how many days before expiry) and personalize the message content.
You'll find separate reminders for members with auto-renewal on and auto-renewal off, so you can tailor each message.

Zeffy send an automatic "Your membership expires in a month" email for Annual Memberships. Allow the customization of the content of this email.

We need to be able to turn off membership expiry notices from being sent out. For us, annual membership applies for the school year, not 365 days from when payment is made as Zeffy is interpreting. The Zeffy notices saying "your membership will expire in 30 days" is not accurate and is confusing our process of soliciting renewed memberships early in the new school year. Zeffy's membership module is currently doing too much automatically without the ability for us to intervene and keep communication appropriate for our community. Please escalate.

We need to be able to review and edit any communications sent directly to our donors by Zeffy. The email should provide a link and contact info for them to contact our organization. We are a new organization, and I personally received the first renewal email. Please fix this soon! I see this was requested in 2023 - this should be escalated for change.

I would like to be able to edit the reminder email that Zeffy system generates one month before membership auto-renewal. I cannot find that feature in the Membership form.

It is not acceptable to have a communication sent to our members until/unless it has been reviewed, edited (for branding, messaging, etc), and “released@ by our administrators. This just happened to us…Zeffy sent a membership renewal reminder which was “canned”. It confused our membership and lacked the personalization and energy we like to infuse in our communications. EXTREMELY disappointed that this happened without the opportunity to review.

Our organization would like to be able to customize the membership expiration email that is sent out, so that it includes a link to the membership form as well as a customized message. We would also like for this email to include our branding so that members easily recognize it and don't treat it as spam.

When people renew their membership early, they will still receive a reminder email for the later(original) expiry date. Could you add the following to the reminder emails "If you have already renewed your membership, please ignore this email. Thank you for your support.”
It would save us answering these emails every time this happens.

Or be able to eliminate the reminder email all together! This will cause major confusion for our group in the coming months when our Membership drive begins and members receive multiple conflicting emails. If it's possible to make this change soon, it would be GREATLY appreciated!
