I'm having a flash sale selling t-shirts. The t-shirts are discounted 50%. However, I also have an item for shipping. Right now I have to charge double the shipping because that will also be discounted 50%. So it would be helpful to be able to exclude the shipping from the discount code.

Discount Item/Ticket Codes & Usage
I would like to be able to use 1 to several discount code(s) that can be assigned to 1 item/ticket type and applied independently to 1 or more ticket instance(s).
For example, if I have 2 ticket types, I would like to be able to assign 2 different discount codes to Ticket Type1 and 3 different discount codes to Ticket Type2. When checking out, if I purchase 3 tickets of the same ticket type, I would like the option to separately apply 1 discount code (selecting from the assigned codes) to 1, 2, or all of the purchased tickets.
I hope that makes sense and is not too much of an ask. :-)
Thank you for being so wonderfully supportive of nonprofits!

I vote for this to be added! Specially if you want to incentivize your donors as an early bird benefit!

This feature is so important for what many of us are doing. It is surprising it was not built in with all of the other features.

Discount codes for specific tickets are a must. Eventbrite offers this option.

I completely agree with the consensus. We often need to offer discounts on ticket sales for specific ticket levels but not to all of them. Many of our ticket levels come with multiple tickets and we only want to offer discounts to single ticket sales. A discount for one overall ticket level purchase does not work for us.

Need this feature so that we can offer discounts at different tiers

Yes, definitely needed-- we have three fundraiser ticketing tiers. We want to offer $10 off each ticket for regular attendees, but not offer the discount to our VIP level. Need to incentivize attendance but bad to lack revenue controls like this. This one is pretty basic, please implement soon, thanks! I love aspects of Zeffy for our nonprofit, but am getting the itch to look elsewhere as nuances like these are sometimes lacking.

We need discount codes by ticket type. For example we may want to have different discounts for a VIP ticket vs General Admission. Also, codes should be CASE INSENSITIVE so that "code" and "CODE" and "Code" all resolve to one Coupon Code. As it stands today, they all are seen as different codes (e.g. if the code is "CODE" then "code" or "Code" won't apply the discount.
