I would love this. I also do want to have the option to leave the higher priced tickets available. Currently we use this as a way to make our events ‘sliding scale’ where folks can contribute more if they would like to

I agree. It would be great to have a start date for tickets. It can be confusing to have both Early Bird and Regular price tickets displaying at the same time. Once Early Bird is closed, regular price ticket is opened.
