Donors can use different email addresses, and since it's only one email per contact, there can be duplicates. Being able to merge contacts and assign more than one email address per contact.

Great news, this is now live! 🎉
Zeffy now spots potential duplicate contacts for you and suggests merging them, so a donor who used two email addresses no longer lives in your database as two separate records.
Here's how it works:
• A banner appears on your Contacts list when duplicates are detected
• You review each pair side by side, then either merge them or mark them as distinct
• When you merge, both addresses are kept on the contact: one as the primary email, one as the secondary email
• Any future payment made with either address is automatically attached to that same contact, so no new duplicate is created
You can also fill in a secondary email by hand on any contact, ahead of time, if you already know someone uses two addresses.

Michel (Product @Zeffy) Love this, I think a lot of us were hoping for a button that allows us to add another email. I have many contacts that have more than 2 emails.

Sometimes donors have children or a spouse who want to get our donor updates. I want those to be sub-contacts or secondary email info.

Currently, you can only add (1) email address and (1) phone number for a particular contact. If you have additional email addresses or phone numbers for a contact, you need to create a new profile for them as though they are a new person.
It would be nice to be able to put those multiple emails and phone numbers on the same profile, since it's for the same person.

We need the ability to add additional phone numbers and email addresses to an individual contact. We also need the ability to have the same email address for multiple contact people. Currently, the use of the same email address just changes the name on the contact.

I would like to be able to add a second email for our family memberships so that both members can receive our members-only emails. One can be the primary, but a second email for the email list would be helpful. So far, we have just noted the second email in Notes, but we receive multiple requests per year from members asking for both members to get the emails. Thx.

Yes please!! I 100% agree. Many of our contacts have a personal, work, and sometimes third email along with phone numbers.
