We really need this as well. We created a field in our current non-Zeffy system called "Label Name" for printed mailing labels that combines both names.

One of our donors, when making his donation, would like to be able to have the donation attributable to himself and his wife, e.g. Jim and Sally Smith. At the moment, because the system takes the name of the donor from the name of the credit card, there is no option to indicate that the donation is from he and his wife...other that contacting me directly after the donation is made. Can there be an option, not an "in memory of" option, but the option to be specific about to whom the donor wants the donation to be attributed?

Yes, we need to be able to link couple's names into one record when they share an email (because sometimes when they donate they use one name, sometimes the other - but they share an email address) and also would love to have a Preferred Name field for people who don't necessarily like to be called by their legal name that's on their credit card.

This is CRITICAL for us - we have couples and our memberships are "household" and we need to be able to register both names. This is one of the biggest things that is keeping us from adopting Zeffy. I have the additional household member as an additional question in the form - but that data doesn't go anywhere??

Also useful for names that people go by vs. legal names. Basically just an Alternate Name field would also be helpful!
