Please bring Tags Back

Please either bring the tags back or give an option add a contact to a specific list or lists directly from their event registration detail page. We were using tags to organize our event registrants and it was easy to add tags based on their answers to registration questions. Now we will have to download that data and go through and individually select them on each list they need to be a part of. This is big step backward for us.

Let me start by saying I see a lot of value in the lists functionality. However, one of the capabilities I liked very much with tags, was to be able to clear them from multiple records without having to go into each individual contact. I did some preliminary testing and do not see any way to delete/clear specific values from the Notes section. An example: I put a note 'ABC' in multiple records that help me prepare for an event and I use to create a list. After the event, though, I no longer need to see 'ABC' for any contacts. However, I may need to use 'ABC' again for a future event, so it needs to be cleared. Other than going into each individual contact record, is there any way to clear the 'ABC' reference? In the past, I could just filter on the tag and delete all tags that were no longer needed.

We have various Ticket Types for our events, and I want to add a Tag (or create a List, now, I guess) for the people who purchased specific Ticket Types. In the past, I could filter for Ticket Type, select them all, and tag them. It was very helpful. Please allow for that - I'm not sure why you changed something that was working well.

We use Tags to mark whether a contact is a volunteer or a board member among other things which this is essential for how we use the newsletters.
The Tags area in a Contact's profile now appears to be gone and instead we should use Notes? However, we have lost all the existing Tags for our contacts and some of that data is not recoverable.
Is this a bug or a new feature? If it is by design, is it possible to make it backwards compatible and move existing Tags to Notes? The documentation and tech support AI also still refer to Tags.

Please revert the dashboard label to Contacts - you can put Newsletters, Emails, Tags, Lists, etc. underneath that header. Contacts is so much more descriptive. Also, please return TAGS to each individual contact - we miss them greatly!

This is several steps backward. We need to be able to add and manage tags directly from a person's profile without several additional clicks.

I just want tags back - I don't care what you call them, but we need to SEE them on each contact and we need to be able to ADD them to each contact. I'm not sure you did enough user testing before changing everything to lists - tags are quite useful - nothing needed to be fixed.

I’m excited to share that we’ve added a new column to the Contacts page showing which list each contact belongs to. You can now see this information both under Newsletter > Contacts in your overall contacts list and on each individual contact’s page, which now displays all the lists a contact is part of.
You can also add a contact to a list by clicking on the contact, heading to the Manual Lists section, and clicking the plus sign next to the list you’d like to add them to.
