Tap to pay support with external contactless/chip reader to use with iPad

I'd love to be able to use an external card/chip reader to be able to access tap-to-pay on an iPad. We are a non-profit that is switching to a suggested donation/pay-what-you- can admission model. It would ideal if we could do an iPad setup at the front desk.

this would be great when we do concessino sales and could have tablets setup so they can pick what they are buying and then pay with their card

I thought I had seen this request on here before, But it would also be great to get this with an android table as well.
