Updating Client's Business Name & Primary Email
Here's the conversation I just had with your chatbot: Z:👋 Hey there! Ask us your question or tell us what you're dealing with, and we’ll help point you in the right direction. ME: Our organization needs to updated the name and email of a small business member, but Zeffy won't allow it. Z: Right now, we can't update a member's name on their contact profile in Zeffy—this feature isn't available yet. For email changes, you can update the email in Newsletter > Contacts unless the field is greyed out. If it's greyed out, that means the member has already activated their Zeffy account and they'll need to log in at zeffy.com/login to update it themselves. If you want to suggest adding the ability to edit names, you can do that through Zeffy’s product request platform. ME: Well, please make it available ASAP. Clients get angry when notifications go to the wrong email contact and emails are personalized with an incorrect company name. Z: We totally get how frustrating it is when you can't update a member's name or email directly, especially when notifications and personalization go wrong. Right now, Zeffy doesn't let us edit a member's name or email address from their contact profile. If you want to see this feature prioritized, you can submit a request through their product request platform: Contact pages and editing contact information. Sharing your feedback there helps push these updates up the list.
